ABI310 Internally Uncoated Low Fluorescent Background
Capillaries
-- Uncoated Low Fluorescent Background ABI 310 Fused
Silica Capillaries Used for DNA Fragment Analysis and Long Read Sequencing (guaranteed
to last at least two hundred injections, sometimes get one thousand injections
if treated properly)
BT's ABI 310 capillaries have excellent resolution for DNA fragment analysis, long read
sequencing and lowest fluorescent background, reliable & batch-to-batch reproducible, can be regenerated after its
performance deteriorates. The regeneration is done by using ABI 310
Capillary Regeneration Reagent (ABI310-RA).
What Is Capillary
Regeneration?
As the number of injection performed on the
capillary increases, the resolution and the signal intensity resulting from
this capillary will decline. This is primarily due to the adsorption of
proteins to the wall of the fused silica capillary. The regeneration procedure
washes the capillaries with regeneration buffer. This cleaves the proteins
into smaller fragments, reducing the number of attractive forces per protein
molecule, and therefore reducing the force with which each molecule binds to
the wall of the capillary. The proteins are then more easily washed away from
the capillary walls. This doesn't apply to the capillaries that are
irreversibly blocked, these capillaries will not be restored by the
regeneration procedures. BIOTAQ's Regeneration Reagent can regenerate
capillary from capillary machine model # 310, 3100, 3130, 3700, 3730. What is
more you can use this regeneration reagent to re-regenerate your capillary for
one more time, it really saves lots of money for capillary.
How to Do It On the Machine?
Very simple, just running any Fill Capillary Module or any Module that allows
you to pump capillary thru two droplets of this regeneration reagent, that is
not to much for most of our customers, what is more critical is that you have
to make sure the regeneration reagent is actually going thru the capillary, so
we need you to visually check there are some droplets of this reagent coming off the
capillary. Afterwards, empty the reagent out, and it is THAT simple. When you have 3730
machine, we have a total different protocol for you to do that. Please contact us first for more details.
How to Regenerate Your ABI Capillary Off
the Machine?
You could either use our Simplified Syringe Device (SP-01) or if you have any vacuum
device, you could just first empty the capillary, make sure seal both ends
with DD water and when you start regenerating, just put one end of the
capillary in the regeneration reagent, apply another end with some pressure,
just rinse the capillary with two droplets of this reagent, and air dry the
capillary, that is it!
If You Really Really Don't Want to Do It......just send it to us, we have this
service, it is really really cheap...you
